Galina has been with the PET Center since February, 1994.  She received her Masters of Science Degree and Diploma of Qualification in Chemical Engineering from the University of  Minsk (USSR).  She graduated from the Nuclear Medicine Technology program at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI in 1989.  Galina is certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). 

Since the arrival of the state of the art PET/CT scanner in January, 2007 Galina has received extensive training on all aspects of the new scanner in order to acquire high quality images and provide the utmost in patient care and services.

In her spare time, Galina likes to read, play the piano whenever possible and to relax and discover new places while traveling with her husband.
