Dr.
Luat studied medicine at the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of
Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines where she graduated cum
laude in 1994. She completed her pediatric neurology fellowship
training in the Philippines. In 2003, Dr. Luat came to the US to
undergo her two year Clinical Neurophysiology/Pediatric Epilepsy
Fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Wayne
State University. Currently, Dr. Luat is undergoing clinical and
research training in Pediatric Neurology under the Basic Neuroscience
Research Pathway at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Her
research interest is in the area of epilepsy and tuberous sclerosis
complex.
